Blockchain Analytics Pricing: What Is Published and What Is Guesswork

Almost every vendor in this category hides its pricing behind a sales call. A few publish real numbers in places people do not think to look. This page collects only the documented figures and tells you plainly where none exist.

Why This Page Exists

Search for what any blockchain analytics platform costs and you will find dozens of pages confidently quoting a number. Compare a few and you will notice they disagree violently. In one week of checking, three separate sites put the typical Chainalysis contract at roughly $18,500, about $40,000, and around $175,000 a year. They cannot all be right, and none of them is the vendor.

The reason is straightforward. Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, and most of their competitors do not publish rate cards, so everyone writing about their pricing is estimating from scraps. We are not going to add another estimate to the pile.

Instead this page lists only figures the vendors published themselves, in documents we link to directly, and states clearly where a vendor publishes nothing at all. It also shows you how to find real contract values yourself, which is more useful than any estimate.

Where WalletWhitePages Fits

Elliptic: $50,000 and $100,000 per Unit per Year, Published

Elliptic is the most transparent of the three. Its AWS Marketplace listing for Cryptoasset Wallet and Transaction Screening publishes two annual subscription dimensions: Tier 1 at $50,000 per unit for twelve months and Tier 2 at $100,000 per unit for twelve months.

The listing is sold by Elliptic, so these are the vendor's own numbers. It also invites buyers to contact Elliptic directly for a private offer, which means negotiated deals sit alongside the listed tiers. Elliptic publishes no pricing on its own website.

TRM Labs: £33,272 to £41,590 per Licence per Year, Filed with the UK Government

TRM Labs publishes nothing on its own site, but selling through the UK Crown Commercial Service requires stating a price. Its G-Cloud listing puts TRM Forensics Premium at £33,272 to £41,590 per licence per year, with support, a technical account manager, and a cloud support engineer included in the annual charge rather than sold separately.

The listing also documents a 99.5% monthly uptime SLA and a two-week trial for appropriately accredited UK clients.

Separately, TRM's published Private Sector Customer Agreement sets each Renewal Fee at the previous Service Fee plus an annual increase of five percent, which may be raised further at the company's sole discretion on thirty days' notice. Contracts renew automatically for one-year terms unless cancelled thirty days in advance. If you are modelling multi-year cost, that compounding clause matters as much as the headline figure.

Chainalysis: No Published Price Anywhere

Chainalysis publishes no pricing for Reactor, KYT, or anything else. There is no public tier list, no marketplace listing with stated dimensions, no self-serve plan, and no government framework filing we could find with a stated rate. Every number you see attributed to Chainalysis online is somebody's estimate.

That does not mean real figures are unobtainable, only that the vendor will not give them to you. Public procurement records will. U.S. federal contracting is searchable at SAM.gov, where agency purchases of Chainalysis tooling appear with their scope and terms, including Treasury's OFAC contracting for blockchain tracing software.

The same technique works across the category. The UK G-Cloud supplier listings are searchable by vendor, and that is exactly where the TRM figure above came from. If you need a defensible number for a budget paper, a procurement filing beats any blog post, including this one.

What WalletWhitePages Costs

For contrast, and because it would be strange to write this page without stating our own: searching any wallet address is free. A single full report is $19.99 with lifetime access and PDF export. Pro is $1 for the first month, then $40 a month for ten reports, roughly $4 each, with alerts and API access. Monitoring up to five wallets is free with an account.

There is no contract, no per-seat licence, no auto-renewing annual term, and no escalation clause. You can cancel from your dashboard.

We are also not the same product. These vendors sell compliance and investigation platforms to institutions, with chain coverage, transaction monitoring, and regulatory output we do not offer. We sell fast, cheap, self-serve answers about who is connected to a specific wallet. If you need the former, the prices above are what it costs, and they are worth it for the right buyer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which blockchain analytics vendors publish their pricing?

Elliptic does, partially, through AWS Marketplace at $50,000 and $100,000 per unit per year. TRM Labs does, for one product, via its UK G-Cloud filing at £33,272 to £41,590 per licence per year. Chainalysis publishes nothing. Most other vendors in the category publish nothing either.

Why do online price estimates differ so much?

Because they are reconstructions, not quotes. Pricing depends on product mix, seat count, chain coverage, transaction volume, contract length, and sector, and enterprise deals are individually negotiated. Aggregator sites pool a handful of self-reported data points, which is why one can report a median near $18,500 while another reports about $175,000 for the same vendor.

How do I find what an agency actually paid?

Search public procurement records. SAM.gov covers U.S. federal awards and solicitations, and the UK G-Cloud Digital Marketplace lists supplier pricing directly. Both are free and both give you real contract terms rather than estimates.

Is WalletWhitePages a replacement for a compliance platform?

No, and we would not recommend using it as one. If you are a regulated exchange, bank, or payment firm that needs continuous transaction screening, audit trails, and a vendor your regulator already recognises, buy one of the enterprise platforms. WalletWhitePages is for people and small teams who need an answer about a specific wallet without a procurement cycle.

Where do your prices come from, and where do theirs?

Ours are on our pricing page: free to search and monitor five wallets, $19.99 for a single full report, or $40 a month for ten report credits plus unlimited wallet monitoring. Theirs are quoted from documents they published themselves, and we link to each one. Where a vendor publishes no price at all, we say that instead of repeating a third-party estimate, because those estimates disagree with each other enormously.

What exactly do your alerts tell me?

They tell you when the intelligence on a wallet changes, not when its balance does. A new scam report filed by another victim, a newly linked name or alias, a social or exchange account tied to the address, a fresh sanctions listing. Tools that alert on transactions tell you money moved. Ours tell you something new was learned about who is behind the address.

Do I have to talk to anyone to use WalletWhitePages?

No. There is no demo, no discovery call, and no order form. You paste a wallet address and get results. A free account adds monitoring for up to five wallets and costs nothing.

How many blockchains do you cover?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Litecoin, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, XRP, Dogecoin, Avalanche, and more. The enterprise platforms generally cover more chains than we do, and if exhaustive chain coverage is your requirement, that is a real reason to choose them.
